Town of Antrim – Board of Selectmen
Meeting Minutes
December 31, 2009
The meeting was called to order at 8:00 am by Chairman of the Board of Selectmen Stephen Schacht at the Antrim Town Hall.
Members Present: Steven Schacht, Gordon Webber, and Michael Genest
Staff Present: Galen Stearns (Town Administrator)
1. The board met to conduct any end of year business that may come before the board.
2. Open Space Committee, the board discussed possibly re-establishing the Open Space Committee and questioned how it was originally created and how it was disbanded. TA will research.
3. The board discussed the hiring process to fill the open position on the Highway Department and decided by consensus that the position would be advertised. Selectman Webber asked if it would be possible to hire a substitute driver or contract out some of the snow plowing until the position was filled. The Highway Agent will look at this possibility.
There being no further business, the Board decided by consensus to adjourn
at 7:00 p.m.
